Ar vrea Vw sa fie actionar majoritar la Suzuki. Pentru moment n-au reusit sa fie nici minoritari, desi au avut vise marete si ... erotice. Prea marete si mai ales prea erotice, din pacate penteu ei  .

Participatia VW era deja nula de facto de foarte mult timp ... ani deja, iar de ceva vreme curtea de arbitraj international a dat decizia oficiala. De saptamana trecuta actiunile au revenit la Suzuki in mod formal.

Pana una-alta VW sa-si vada de furaciunile lor pe piata americana  . Noroc ca in Europa Germania conduce continentul (nu se stie catre ce ...  ) si sunt la adapostul traficului de influenta. Asteptam insa vesti de pe piata chineza, unde oficialii sunt din ce in ce mai mult cu securea anticoruptiei deasupra capului ...

Si odata cu [,] comentariul asta rautacios  imi dau seama ca ne-am cam deplasat de la topic. Propun sa revenim sau sa contimuam in alta parte, eventual in topicul de noutati din lumea auto ...

Yep, ce-mi pare rau e ca Suzuki a platit cat a platit ($3.8mld) sa-si rascumpere cei 20% cu o saptamana inainte de scandal. Saptamana asta poate ca - in valtoarea scandalului - ar fi obtinut un pret mai bun de la VW...

Contra posibilei asocieri de imagine in cardasie cu inculpatul. S-ar fi putut scrie in ziare "Grupul WV din care mai fac parte Skoda, Seat, Suzuki....
Samanta scandalului era cunoscuta in bransa de mai mult timp. Suzuki poate a facut toate eforturile ca sa incheie mai rapid socotelile, inainte ca scandalul sa incolteasca, rasara si sa infloreasca, dupa cum s-a intamplat foarte rapid.

Network System for Off-Auction Treasury Share Repurchase Trading (ToSTNeT-3) on 17 September 2015 for the purpose
of repurchase of 111,610,000 ordinary Suzuki shares owned by Volkswagen AG, pursuant to the arbitration award from
International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce on 29 August 2015.
And the Company also disposed of all of 4,397,000 ordinary Volkswagen AG shares owned by the Company, in line with
the intention of Volkswagen AG on 25 September 2015.

As announced in the “Notification Concerning Arbitration Award” dated 30 August 2015, the Tribunal indicated that it would address the issue of alleged damages arising from Suzuki’s breach of the agreement claimed by Volkswagen AG (“VW”) in a further stage of the arbitration proceedings. Suzuki reached a settlement with VW in regard to such arbitration proceedings on 10 February 2016. Accordingly, the arbitration proceedings have been concluded.

The terms of the settlement provide for the withdrawal by VW of its claims for damages and the payment by Suzuki to VW of a certain amount of money as the settlement amount.
(Note: Suzuki refrains from disclosing details of the terms of the settlement, including the settlement amount, due to an agreement with VW.)


Suzuki is planning to pay the settlement amount during this fiscal year (ending 31 March 2016), but this settlement will not have any significant impact on Suzuki’s consolidated results for this fiscal year.
