Hello world!
First of all, let us welcome any foreign Suzuki owner that happens to cross our "domain" (either in real-world or on-line) and assure them of our support in solving life's unpredictable little riddles to our best abilities! You are encouraged to post on this topic any questions or comments you might have.
It so happens that this first time the cry for help comes from us. Maybe someone far away hears the faint echoes of our desperate voices and throws us a lifeline. Here goes...
Since the Google automatic translation above is simply unintelligible (albeit DAMN HILARIOUS!!! :ad sub masa: ) I'll try to sum up most of the 6 or so pages filled up with miocrl's greatest obsession (so far... :)): his desperate need for an aftermarket Cruise Control on an european SX4. On a more serious note, it's worth to mention that he has given this matter a lot of attention, from research on related forums to fiddling with his car's electric circuitry, based on deep study of SX4's Service Manuals (for models on most sides of various oceans...). Basically what he's done so far was to connect unused corresponding pins on european E27 ECU connector to the signals described for the US E01 connector, accordingly. Unfortunately, this has yelded poor results in terms of cruise control, paving the way for the creepy feeling that the only answer to his prayers is an expensive CAN bus controller :( . His biggest quest so far is to find out if the european ECU has the "guts" (either hardware or software) to do the task... And if so, what are the correct pins for it...

Hello, and greetings from California, USA, and the English speaking forum at www.SX4CLUB.com! I recognize some of the members here have often visited our forum. I have a 2007 SX4 with a 5 speed manual transmission and a 2.0 liter gasoline engine. This is probably the best car I have ever owned. At age 54, I have owned quite a few cars. I bought a used 2002 Esteem (Boleno) for one of my daughters. Just recently, I bought a 2002 Aerio (Liana) for another daughter. So we are now a three Suzuki family.
So sorry, I have no talent at wiring a cruise control/tempomat.
-
welcome a' board :)
how many hp has your 2 liter engine? we do not have such a big engine on gasoline. I do not understand your last phrase. you need help in adding a cruise control?
@Avalanche:
what would you want to know about the projectors?
PS
for all english speakers, please add also your post in english below the translation in our language. good luck
-
Hello @Dowser and welcome! It's nice to see people from other countries joining our club. :)
-
Quoting Miocrl:
"how many hp has your 2 liter engine? we do not have such a big engine on gasoline. I do not understand your last phrase. you need help in adding a cruise control?"
The J20 engine in the 2007 thru 2009 SX4 has 143 hp at the crankshaft. Road Race Motorsports dyno tested the stock J20 engine at 99 wheel hp. They also have some performance parts (including a turbocharger) that can more than double this.
The new 2010 SX4 2.0 liter engine is supposed to have 150 hp and variable valve timing and a 6 speed transmission.
I was referring to earlier in this thread...you were looking for help with wiring a cruise control (also known as a tempomat).
-
I solved my problems regarding the tempomat.
thanks.

Reviving this old topic for non-Romanian, but English speakers.
Maybe our club / forum will become more "visible" to international car fans through the help (and indexing on search engines) of the blog (http://geneva10.suzuki-club.ro/) on Geneva 2010. It would be very nice, don't you think? ;)
On another hand, I have some foreign friends that take part in off-road trips in Greece by Suzuki's Jimny and I plan to introduce Suzuki-club.ro to them. You never know when you may need some help or, in a more positive way, you may want to have some fun in rocky Greece! :D (but I think I already mentioned this somewhere over this forum...)
Cheers everybody! :good:

Hello from SKE! :)
Hello, hello! From which city are you? Last weekend I was in Hungary (Debrecen & Budapest) and I have to say I've noticed a lot of Suzuki cars back there.
It will be a pleasure for me to meet you guys, maybe in my future trips to Bupdapest or why not maybe you guys want to join us for this crazy roadtrip (http://translate.google.ro/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=ro&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=ro&tl=hu&u=http://www.suzuki-club.ro/forum/ghid-de-calatorie/nebunia-sosele-spectaculoase/).

Hi there and welcome aboard! I was wondering whether you have a similar foreign user's section on your boards, in which case it would really help if you posted a link to it. Thanks!

Yes they have, this would be it (http://ignisklub.hu/?page=forum&action=posts&tID=81), except the title, which say it's the swift owners meeting but, as Mar_C says every Suzuki owner is welcomed. By the way my nick there is TASI
